Why are allya baying So many windshields, apparently yall might try a HD wind splitter and be done..
I originally bought an 11, just recently bought a 10 to try one just a little lower. Works the same and allows me to see more over it. If they ever make a 9 for the RG, I may try one.
Some people buy more than one because they have more than one bike. Some buy more than one because they make a few different designs for each bike. Some may buy more than one due to the different tint levels you can get. Some buy more than one because they like taller shields in the colder weather, and shorter ones in the summer. Some buy more than one because a shield with more coverage is better to them for long rides but they prefer less coverage for their daily rides.
Not sure what brand has to do with it. Just like other components, its not always as cut and dry as one and done.

This reminds me of a cat from Germany who was hand making windscreens for BMW's and some 3 wheel reverse trike. This was about 6 years ago. Marcel was his first name, dude was all BS. He did mention have a facility in Nevada.
I understand OP's frustration. When I order something,I expect it yesterday, but come to realize that isn't going to happen in the real world. I am on my third shield from LRS and had a 2-3 week wait on each one.

I have also had several LRS shields, and will keep buying their products as they are of good quality, a very fair price and I have never had any issues with them, unlike some other vendors on this site.
Bought several shields for three different bikes.... things change like lower seat, decided to try tint, etc....
At one time I bought 2 shields for two different bikes on a sale... they contacted me with the delay. They said they were overwhelmed with the sale and ran out of product. It would be another 3 weeks before they could fill the order. They offered to upgrade the shields, for free, and ship them within a week.
I accepted their offer, got the shields a week later, and they were upgraded to polycarbonate from acrylic.....
Never again... Never again. 2 weeks to heat some plastic in a mold and another week to ship it? Hand made? Yeah. That just means they put in the mold without automation. I was a big supporter of this product telling all about the great service and great product. But never again will I buy from this vendor. Never again will I put up with the delays lies and run around from LRS. Made in Nevada? Bull... Why shipped from California? Ordered almost a month before a trip and wont have product till I get back. Screwed me over so Screw them....
No problem, buy some other crappy brand and move along. Next wiener?
