Those look great! Are they wired internally through the bars? Not sure if heated grips will work with my 15” apes (wire length and with canbus if I can splice and extend)

Really like that textured look look on your tank and doors, is that vinyl?

yes they are wired internally and im not sure if you can extend them or not??

yeah that’s snakeskin vinyl wrap. It helps break up the Black a little and like you said add some texture

Matt
I bought these last week and have not had a chance to put them on yet. One of the reasons was you said they worked great and they look great on your bike Matt. Killer looking sled by the way.

Steeler dude
I saw a somewhere that some one bought them and extended the wires with apes on a roadglide. Not sure if I saw it on the other forum or where. I will keep my eyes open and post if i find it.

At the rate I am going mine won't go on till after the snow flies. I will follow up when I put my 14" f47 bars and install the grips, I will let you know about wire length. Unless someone beats me to it.

I installed a set of these a couple of weeks ago when I put on my khrome werks 2+2 narrow sweepers.
They are nice. I've already had the chance to ride in the 30s with them a couple of times. In my opinion, they don't heat as quickly, or get as warm as the plain black ones that were stock on my Ultra Limited.

I used the Namz extensions to extend all of my wiring (including heated grips) when I installed new Wild 1 bars on my 2016 FLHTK . They work great and the extensions installation is plug and play.

hmmm, I used the HD wire extensions, wonder if that extends the heated grip connector.

Its been a while since I installed heated grips, but I think the wire on grip to the other. Thinking that wire would need extended as well.

Im going to look up Namz and check it out though.

Thanks!

FYI: Namz extensions are available from many different sources. Believe it or not I found the best deal on Amazon. FWIW.

Hey those grips look awesome. I really like your brake and clutch levers too. Where did you find them puppies?
