Default Thinking about a paint as Scheme

I really like the black/ organge combo of the 08 nighster. Thinking about adding this color orange in a denim fisidh to my Road Glide. Basically the tops of the fairing tank and fenders, and keeping my punisher skulls ( in denim) and stars on both fenders, but will paint it on.

My only concern is that custom paint is very subjective, and may lower the value at trade it.

Thoughts?? I am very torn, but am wanting some sort of change.

Similar to the 08, but denim orange and gloss vivid black.

Punisher skull military star on both fenders. Denim black over denim orange

No offense but if your factoring in resell or trade value on a bike prior to doing custom work you probably shouldn’t.....

I personally think it would look sharp..but unless all the stars line up and you find the guy who wants it...it will kill the resale value...realistically it only hurts it a few $$grand..but I say Go For It

Ah hell Steelerdude, you need to hold on to a bike for a change anyway.

that's not crazy custom....I like it....don't like skulls and flames an other images that express a personal interest....to me those kill a bike's resale value an usually have the love it or hate it reaction. I've seen a few bikes with the airbrush "jet plane" look...I was in the navy an like it but it's probably a limited crowd.
