They are welded in... Fullsac cores are a common fix, short of replacement slip-ons

American Customs does take them out and even makes them replaceable. In the muffler world they are cheap.

CVO mufflers are pretty cheap, most people take them off and go customer and louder (not all). If you can get ahold of a set of these, you can take the end cap off, and there are two welds spots you can grind off, and pull the baffles out and swap them with Fulsac baffles. I took my jack handle and slid it through the intake side of the muffler and either pound the handle or grab the muffler with the handle sticking out the bottom and bang it on a large timber, it will push the baffle out. slide in the new cores and install end cap, good to go. I don't reweld them.
