Default My phone mount solution

I have a 16 RGU and with the stock handlebars I was using a cheap Amazon bar clamp mount but after I put my new bars on I did not like the amount of cable I had to have out to allow full lock in both directions. I looked at the Iron Aces mount and it’s a real nice piece but I could not bring myself to spend $150 on a phone mount. So I pieced together this usin bits From Ram Mount. I thought some may like this as another option for phone mounts.

Is that a suction cup or 3M double-sided tape?

Check out rokform motorcycle mounts, they have some heavy duty stuff that looks great on harley bars. A bit more expensive than this was im sure, but might be more secure as well

I totally agree. I am digging around for a non-bar attached solution for mine too. I am actually really considering drilling a hole in the fairing and bolting a mount to the empty space above either the volt meter or the fuel gauge.

I am looking for a SG solution too. My wife (SGS) likes mine and wants to get hers off her bars too. I will post an update if I figure out something for her bike.
