Default Rear Brake light switch

Any body got a suggestion on how to replace it on a 2014 FLHTK?

What the service manual says, YouTube. Good luck, can't be too hard. I know on my Evo, it's a psi switch.

Wasn't there a recall for the switch being too close to the exhaust,so it was moved?

No recall on my '14 Limited. As far as replacing the switch, it looks like a PITA job. First step in the procedure: Remove rear brake master cylinder...

Maybe it was a service bulletin, or the color of our bikes is exempt, lol.

It's definitely the color! Regarding service bulletins, how would we grunts ever know if there was a service bulletin for some issue that might need attention that isn't recall worthy?

I had one and they recalled it for the brake switch after I fixed myself. I hope I am right getting old maybe it was my 09. Anyway EZ fix sits behind the exhaust around the swing arm area.
