The auto tensioner does apply more pressure than needed . Solid comps can run $130 thru Dennis Kirk . I haven't tried the auto tensioner with a solid comp. I might have to try that later. Oh I have the manual tensioner thru twin power. And will be looking at it in 1k . Service will be do.
Baker Compensator and a attitude adjuster or a Hayden primary adjuster...pony up and you will be done.
This will be the route I go if I ever have the problem. My biggest problem is finding time to ride. 15 SGS w/4980 miles. I think I performed the 5k service in April. I used to average about 6k miles a year. Damn!
