I am going to get the part number of the heads, which were for a stage 4 103 and see if the 110 big bore kit needs 110 size 4 inch gaskets.

Yes, it needs the 110 4" Gaskets. I've had good luck with the Cometic MLS Head Gaskets. Plus they're a bit thinner than stock and that gets you a very slight bump in the Compression Ratio, which is a nice benefit.

Something VW and Porsche did decades ago on their air cooled engines. Anyhow as a result using this kit doesn't require that the cases be machined. I put this 110 piston and cylinder kit on my originally 103 2015 Ultra Limited (along with heads and cams, etc., etc.) and that was close to 20,000 trouble free miles ago.
Did you use the stock water cooled heads?

I do like the 999-6a's...not looking to go with that kind of duration, but they just really seem to throw good numbers and show a nice curve. They do seem to build early and carry out to 5250 very nicely. Just never seem to see many done with 2-1-2 exhaust and when you do, they're done with disc style cans.
