I am aware of the "skip waypoint" bug, which I believe was a bug before 1.22.0.3, but what other bugs are there in the newest version?
If You use a usb drive for music .It continually says "Reading" with newer than 12.0.1. You can go to radio and back to usb, and it works correctly. This is what annoyed Me to go back to that version. Now I have a GTS and don't care.
Can't speak to the last release (Version 1.22.0.3); had already purchased the 6.5GTS before it was available. My experience with the other versions that I tried but removed had issues with boot-up sequence instability (your experience may be different). I found Version 1.20.1 had the most stable boot-up sequence & had no other issues that affected how I used the Infotainment system.
After waiting, because the older version on my bike was working fine, I installed 1.22.0.3 yesterday to see if it would take because of the OP's issue. I haven't tested it out, so if there are some major issues with it, I will reinstall the older version. I'm going riding this afternoon, so I'll check it out. Thanks.
Make sure the USB drive(s) are formatted on Windows, not MacOS and that the layout on the USB drive is MBR not GUID. It won't work unless MBR and formatted on Windows.

Hammz, can you send me a PM. I have a question about your old FXRS.
I've done every update as they came out. For some reason they never tell you in the instructions you must unzip the file on your computer before you copy the file on to the USB stick. I don't know why they would assume everyone would know to do that.

That information is in the manual that came with my 2018. It's not in yours?

The instructions on the H-D website don't specifically say "unzip", but they do say copy the file within the zipped folder to the USB flash drive. I mean, unless you're just a total computer illiterate, you'd have to know to unzip the file first, wouldn't you?
