This week I had to replace the left switchpack module because the clutch switch failed. Done under ESP, not a big deal.
The surprise came when I tried using the CB. NOTE: I had the cruise control & CB control switched (CB on left, CC on right). I had CC on the right & CC on the left! Yes, I had dual cruise control.
A quick trip to my dealer & 5 minutes on the Tech II fixed everything. Seems that when replacing switchpack modules, the modules themselves require programming to restore the (modified) functionality. I suspect it's a bus addressing/function assignment issue.
Posting this as a heads up for others that may need to change out a switchpack module in the future.
Thanks for the heads up. Your left pack lasted switch pack some time. Tons of guys had to change them out. I opted to change mine back in 2014 - went with the lighted switch pack
