Gloss Black acorn/cap nuts
Does anyone have a source or the size of the acorn nuts for the turn signal brackets and horn? I think they are 1/2X20 but having a terrible time finding the nut and washer combo in gloss black. I found a source a while ago and ordered one to check fitment, now that I got time to get back to the project can't figure out where I ordered it from

My local Ace Hardware carries some stuff like that. They have it in the hardware section in a free-standing rotating display. I know for sure it has chrome and "Smoke chrome", I think it has black as well. The stuff is usually way more expensive, like $6-$7 per nut compared to 20 cents for a regular one, but maybe still less than what HD would want. Worth a look next time you're in a place like that.

I can’t begin to tell you how many things I have sent to my powdercoater because MOCO does not sell the stuff in gloss black. Even though my ride is “blacked out” From the factory. Powder coating is not that expensive just a pain to deliver, wait, and pick up. I stopped trying to find things in gloss black. Buy it from Harley and coat it
