I have a 2014 Ultra Limited. I've noticed that both the 7" Daymaker LED headlight and the 2 LED passing lights get a fogged / etched glass appearance once they've warmed up, then this hazing disappears once the bike cools down. This interior distortion of the glass interferes in the intensity of the light and the distance the light will cover. At the same time, I've just noticed Harley Davidson has stopped selling the Daymaker 7" LED headlights on their web site, as they were there just a few weeks ago. Anyone know what the future holds for replacement headlights? Hopefully we're not going back to candle power.....

Unfortunately Harley is good at making parts that fog up. I have had issues with speedos and gas gauges on the past for example. They do have part number 67700430A. Though there are other, much better. priced options out there.
Rubbing alcohol and a cloth at the end of screw driver. I don't think he had a day maker, but that worked. (Assuming you can get in there)
As far as a replacement, when it comes time to, I have my eyes on the XMC 7" LED Headlight From Vision X In Chrome sold by Ciro 3D. Law Abiding Biker (Ryan Urlacher) did a comparison of I think 3 headlights, inlcuding the day maker, and they found this one to be the best.
I noticed mine was hazing and promptly did some digging on the forums. I took light out and peeled off the little sticker covering a hole then re-installed the light, it seems to have been effective.

That only works if its moisture. The hazing many of us are seeing is from desiccant powder. Watch the video in post #12 from the other thread linked above.
