Have a 2016 Ultra Limited with V&H Power Duals and Hi-Output slipons with FP3. Trying to decide between a Screamin Eagle Ventilator Elite or one of the V&H VO2 models.
For the most part all air cleaners are going to perform the same so it comes down to looks.
On an OEM through Stage I or II, including a milder big bore build, IMHO any high flow air cleaner will allow enough air to support those engine mods...
If you go to a much larger big bore... (ie 103" to 124") or a smaller motor, built up to very high HP & torque.. you will need evaluate needed air flow and probably upgrade to an even higher flowing Air cleaner..
For example; I have had a bike with a 103" Stage I and one with a 103" Stage II.. both had the basic Screamin' Eagle high flow air cleaner. They both had more air than needed to get a proper tune...
I recently went from my 103" Stage I, to a high HP/TQ 124" crate engine. I needed to change to an even higher flowing air cleaner for that engine...
