Default Front Suspension Upgrade HELP

I know it’s been talked about a lot but looking for some recommendations on front suspension upgrades and. It looking to put $1000 ohlins or legends on. 2016 SGS I’m not a corner carver anymore those days are long gone. I would like a plusher ride versus stiffer as I feel now the front jumps over the bumps. I have air ride on back and am very happy with that not looking to do front air ride though. I’ve seen everything from heavier fork oil to cartridge kits to The ricor valves. Also I’ve seen 1” lowering kits what does this do for ya? Again not looking to drag my knee in the corners I ride 2 up most of the time. Any help or insight is appreciated.

2 years ago , Changed to SE fork oil , For lack of a better way to put it , It took some of the mystery feeling out of the front end , DK web site has a fantastic 2 or 3 part write up on front suspension

I just did a 50% SE heavy and 50% type e oil change in my forks. Much better then before. I am sure not anything like the ride cartridge's give you but it was a quick and cheap improvement.

$300 for the Pro Action kit. Far better than the Monotubes.

I went with the Legends, and I would say they're probably not for you. Drastically better than the stock front suspension on my 16 RGU, but more on the stiffer side. I think they are great and responsive... but I would not call them "plusher". I have 14" SuperShox on the back, and they can be adjusted from really plush to really stiff, and I have them dialed in to just a bit stiff. The factory front end to me always felt dead, some how diving on turns and braking, then ridiculously stiff on road chatter stuff (bridge approaches, slab joints, patches, etc)...
