Default Anyone else?
I noticed the other day that if I have the brake held either one and rev the bike it is quieter and has less power than normal.

Yup, I noticed that if I’m resting my foot heavily on the rear brake pedal, and accelerate from a stop, it doesn’t accelerate very fast.

I think you need to clarify that statement, because as it is currently written, it is ridiculous.
