I went this route:
https://cyclemax.com/inc/sdetail/chr...ms/4102/261164
Then I mount my Garmin tpms cap on the top (FOBO caps would be the same) and easily add air via the other cap which is now pointed right at me. Been fine for the last 30 thousand or so miles.
If you use either tpms caps you need to replace the rubber valve stems with metal! I didn't and had the rear tpms cap hit my rear brake caliper at 80 mph and tore the stem almost completely off. Instant loss of air.

Thanks OKO! I'm going to get that one. I have the $80 tire pressure and fill gauge. It's not as easy as it looks. The Simple Valve stem extension will do the job just fine.
In fact, yesterday when I picked up the $80 one to use, the rubber was coming off onto my hands. Good night, it's not even July yet in my garage. LOL!

I got that lowdown feeling you get when you pi$$ away $80. ROFL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

My inflator/gauge was originally fitted with this 45° dual foot chuck which worked fine with my previous bikes.

With the new bike I found it was impossible to use, so I replaced the original 45° chuck with a 90° chuck from NAPA. Works great, and my hands don't get close enough to anything that would draw blood.

I like the convenience of using one tool for checking pressure, and adding/releasing air as needed.

I have a 90 degree valve stem on the rear tire of my RGS. It helps slightly, not completely. Just a pain in the butt that we have to live with. Even more of a pain with a touring bike that I have to remove the right side bag.

I recommend KurveyGirl 83° valve stems.

I have used a Milton S-921 for 40 years. Simple, accurate enough, reliable. Milton (S-921) Single Chuck Head Pencil Tire Pressure Gauge - Passenger Car (5-50psi)
https://smile.amazon.com/dp/B0002SQY...32QCFBS5ZEVCGJ

This Milton Chuck easily fits too.

This is by far the easiest way i have found to check your tire pressure (no crawling around on the ground- removing saddle bags or rolling the bike to get valve stem into the right spot) and with the optional T valve the easiest way to add air ! Probably best to add T valve at tire change ! (DO NOT run FOBOs on rubber valve stems I had one break at the rim) not as much fun as it sounds.
