“103 stage 1 vs stage 2, what can I expect?“

A desire for stage IV.

That’s what happened to me.

I did a 110” upgrade with Scott at Hillside.

Oko...did you do the 110 drop on or did Scott bore the cases? What were your results in the end, interested!

Hopefully we are not hijacking this thread and JerseyDrew can use the intel...

110" S&S heads, Bob Woods TW-6-6 cam. De-catted pipe, his head and port work.

Then the AIM clutch weights with E-Z Pull. Approx. $6100 I had asked for a reliable touring engine with more torque and NOT to wring out every ounce of horse power.

Here's the Dyno sheet:

Stage one is for looks and sound. The factory air cleaner flows plenty for a stock engine.

When I did stage one on my 14 103 HO it was alot more than I was expecting . I went with the S&S Stealth air cleaner , removed the cat from my stock head pipes ,almost as good as aftermarket 2 -1- 2 pipes, Rush Big Louie slip on's 2" baffles ( came with the bike ) and a V&H FP3 , it added some power but the responsiveness was the real surprise for $500.00 , 103HO's really like to breath , wakes em up.

If it were me I'd start there , biggest bang for the buck IMO , you will never get that big a smile for that cheap again.

My next step is going big bore , cams , pistons , heads , clutch , TTS tuner , Dyno tune but thats gonna be in the 4K + range having them do all the work.

Not at all , I believe the traditional Teardrop cover is one of the choices for the Stealth from S&S as well , it's not what was used in this video and I actually use a HD cover on mine , thats the nice thing about it is you can use dozens of different covers with it .
