Whats the difference between CVO muffler and stock ? Arent they both on stock bikes anyway?
Have seen lots of posts where folks went with CVO muffler for stage I or II.
The CVO mufflers have a design more like aftermarket mufflers. They have a straight through perforated core with noise absorbing material wrapped around the core. There is a noise reducing baffle at the outlet. I do believe that the CVO mufflers are a little more performance oriented than the standard stock mufflers. They do not have catalytic converters in them like the newer Screaming Eagle Street Cannon mufflers.
I was told the same. I was advised by a CD customer service that the plate relocator they sell for the road king will work with a little modification. I might try it eventually. For now, the one I have is growing on me.
The license plate relocation piece out of a Tour-Pak delete kit should work to allow you to remove the rack and retain the stock brake lite. I bought one separately for my 2015 flhp but can't find the part number. It was quite awhile ago. And i can't seem to find the kit online. your dealership might be able to get it for you.
I just went with a street glide/road glide rear fender and programed the BCM for the change.
edit=I just found the bracket in my parts bin but no part number is stamped on it. sorry...also saw that the OP mentioned the same thing. I payed short money for the rear fender off of a Road Glide/Street Glide that was a brand new take off.
