Got about 6200 miles on the bike now. Still all good. Did a 3 flags tour. Several days of riding at temps well over 100f. Brutal.

urslo Did you ever get your radio wiring sorted? Haven't looked into installing one yet but I think I'm going to. How did you mount yours? What head unit did you use? Haven't even had the outer fairing off yet.

UrbanRunner Thanks for the customizing tip but I'm gonna leave it plain. My style. When I worked at the dealership I always used to say that my bike bike makes everybody elses bike look good.

I received that Mustang passenger pad. Wasn't cheep so I was quite surprised how the fabric cover wasn't close the matching the saddle.

Got it parked now for winter here in the great white frozen north.

Congrats on the FLHTP! My ‘19 is pretty special to me. Over the past month I’ve been turning it into an Ultra, basically. Up to this point I’ve ridden it as a police bike.

I was really happy with the work that he did for me at Purple Iron.

What seat are you running?
And then what do add for the passenger?
That is definitely a BEAUTIFUL bike!

The Black and white bike is UrbanRunner 's. It is a beauty.

Mine is the mostly white one, shown earlier in the thread, with trunk. Not so beautiful
I added the lowers and,
I added the Mustang seat listed by Mustang for the FLHTP stock police seat.

Yours is still one I would stop and look @ to where most any other from HD I would just pass.
Something about the FLHTP always makes me stop and look. It is what a Harley is all about and not just cosmetics. The FLHTP is the truest form of the original Harley left with the Roadkings a close second and not the Roadking Specials, as losing all the chrome just lost something in the original scheme of the bike for sure...
I do like the Revival and the iconic RKs as well. I also considered the Elelctraglide Standard to he a jewel.
If ya haven't kept up with the Hulk thread with roadkings you are missing out...
My RK is a bit too fancy with the wheels and all, but I purchased it as it is on a great deal along with lots of upgrades.
Ride Safe ✌️

Thanks Bayou FLHR-M8-128.
Re read the start of this thread. I had ordered a 2022 Ultra when I came a cross Hulks thread.
I'm blaming him.
I was not at all enamored with that Ultra even as I signed the papers, but there was no more Standard or Classic.
For exactly the same reasons you mentioned I was sold on the Police bike.
Still had some chrome and stainless trim . And a cat squasher... sort of.
I'm obviously not a rich guy so to everyone's amazement at the dealership I placed the order for the FLHTP shortly after I committed to the sale for the Ultra in the fall and months before I picked it up in the early spring. I rode it for a couple months until the FLHTP came in. Then waited a month for them to fiddle f around de-policing it according to what they were instructed to do. First one they had ever done and they are not fast learners..

Those Police trunks look great....some questions...

1) where can you get them and if at the dealer can you provide a P/N?
2) can a full size helmet fit in the trunk?
3) would like to add a brake light to the trunk so it is more eye level to the cagers driving behind you....where can we buy a red brake light that is compatible and plug & play with the OEM harness?

Thanks in advance

I bought one from Amazon. See the thread linked in my signature.
No, a full helmet does not fit.
I do not have lights on mine, I use a detachable mount and I don't want to have a wired connection to mess with.
