Default Lost Brake Pressure?

17 FLHXS, 5600 mi. on it, lost front break pressure. Brake fluids replaced by dealer 600 miles ago, never a problem. Bike sat in heated garage, 50 degrees, couple months and took it out for a quick spin other day and had trouble with little front brake pressure. Got home pumped up brake and it was ok. Took it for another spin today and it was good. No leaks anywhere, fluid in bubble is up there. I did zip tie lever today for overnight for the hell of it. WTH Fluke?

Yeah maybe, just weird. I never had abs and link on a bike, little different. Wondered if anyone else would chime in experiencing it.

Is 5600 miles a typo? If not, the seals may be getting bad from non-use. Hydraulics (like most mechanical systems) like to be exercised regularly. Also, a fluid change at 600 miles means less than the time elapsed since the last change. Hydroscopic fluids scavenge any moisture that infiltates porous membranes like the rubber gaskets found throught the brake system.

think I found the problem- " Brake fluids replaced by dealer"
Sounds like you are good to go now, air will seek the high spot sooner or later.

Thought I was clear. Bike has 5600 miles, fluid was changed at 5000 miles, 600 miles ago, all I know.

Seriously, take her out in a parking lot or secluded road and make the bike activate the ABS. Air will not get out of the ABS until it is activated, if air is in the ABS module then you might have a problem stopping when activated.

Cleaning the calipers cures many a similar braking problem.
