I am doing the 131 kit now. I just don’t know if I should have got another cam. My build is as follows:
SE Stage 4 131 Kit SE Cam Plate and Oil Pump SE 1275N Clutch Springs (might put in the SE High Capacity Clutch Plate kit) S&S Lifter Guides S&S Piston Jet Oilers Cycle Rama Comp Ramp Cycle Rama 512 Cam, thinkin I should have went with the Cycle Rama 515 cam. i already had a Dyno stage 2 torque done(pic of Dyno attached 104 Power/125 Torque) I have the SE Extreme Ventilator Rinehart Racing Headers Forsch Performance Exhaust with Angry Bird 2 Baffles. ill attach a few pics of my girl too.(the bike, not the wife lmao) let me know what you all think. What could or should be swapped. Looking forward to your replies/comments. Stage 2 Dyno Sheet
What year is your bike? What tuner are you using. I just had the SE Stage IV put on my 2023 SGS. I am running the SE pro street tuner, SE wedge air filter and rienheart DBX 45 slip-ons. My bike dyno'd at 126.8 HP and 135.9 TQ. I have been told by a lot of guys that all the cams are pretty much the same and made by the same vendors. So it really depends on what you are looking for. More HP or TQ?

My SGS is a 21. Get that tuner off your bike!! Governor at 184 km/h. Get a good tuner to copy a map name and just paste it so it looks like a Harley tune. I had one on my bike for maybe a few weeks and I had to get rid of the SE Tuner. Just complete junk. The Cycle Rama’s I have noticed have quite bigger bores than most. I am trying to hit the 150/150 mark. If I pulled a 104 and 125 on a stage 2. I should be able to produce that. I’m not chasing numbers. Just want a good build and something that will last and be kind of reliable if you know what I mean

Are you using the SE Cam that came with the kit too? 100% SE stage 4 kit?
Yeah, all HD SE. I went this route for warranty reasons. Next year I might look at a different tuner. But I am happy with what I got right now. Next thing I will be changing is the comp. Man o war will be going in.

Look around the site as there are plenty of builds like yours using various camshafts. The cams you are looking at is very limited and not all showing the results your looking for. Also you should find a tuner that is not using a BS correction factor as STD was rescinded way back in Aug.1988, and was ONLY to be used on small displacement engines of no larger that 50 cu in and making less than 20 HP. You can look it all up on SAE's website. STD correction is J607"The purpose of this code is to prove a uniform means of comparing small gasoline engines of 0.82 L (50 in3) or less in displacement and 15.1 kW (20 hp) or less in power output. Replaced with J1349" J1349 is the current proper SAE correction that anyone that isn't trying to trick a customer should be using.
