I have an early 2019 FLHTP 114 with 33k miles on it. I fill to the half way point on the on the dipstick, on the side stand, whole cold. I will check it after a 20 minute ride after an oil change.
I have not had to add oil to my bike between 5000 oil change intervals.
Seeing it on a couple of reels on the internet,
Thought I would ask here, Checking to see if there is any truth to what was being said,
so far, sound like a lot of crap, as is usual for the internet...
As a side note I fill my 2014 Street Glide Special up to the fill line and I don't lose oi,l or at least a noticeable amount.
But I also have a custom\home made catch can which does catch a small amount of oil between changes, as in maybe a 1/4 ounce type thing.
That would have gone into the motor via air filter BS
