2018 street glide special, S&S 465 cam, fueling lifters, upgraded new harley oil pump and tune. Riding the other day with the wife on the back for about an hour and a half, stopped for lunch and got back on and after about 45 mins on the same tank of fuel I head what seemed like a high pitched sucking noise maybe, very hard to explain, and loss of power when given throttle.
It was about 35 degrees celcuis out but had been all day. We were cruising at about 60 MPH up and down this whole time and closer to home it seemed to do it again and in 5th gear I rolled into the throttle to get a feel for it and it just made more noise with no exceleration. Oil levels are fine a it has the primary vent mod done as well.
At first i though it seemed like sumping but i never had that issie and it has the new pump installed and had been for 2 years. Any idea what could cause this? I did take it up and down the road and day later and it seemed fine but never really had time. I'll trying again later if I can fit it in.
I have a P0522 oil pressure code and another one under what I think is SPED which is B2272 is a speedometer voltage code. Doesn't seem like either one of these would cause tje issues I had but I'm not sure.

Do you have the stock intake and throttle body? If so I would check it for a vacuum leak from a warped or crack plastic intake. It common when they get old and in high heat conditions.
It could be as simple as the gas cap vent not functioning. That would explain the sucking sound. If it happens again release the gas cap. If it hard to release and there's a rush of air into the tank you found your issue.
