Default 2016 RG 103HD - o2 Sensors too short

Good Morning Gents, I picked up a used trask nb for my bike yesterday. Got it installed and the o2 sensor wires are too short. Factory the sensors mount down low just before the cat. The trask mounts them higher up near the heads.
I walked over and talked to trask as they are next door to my office. I left not feeling completely confident in the answer.
I am told I need to purchase o2 sensors for a 2017 M8 as they are the same sensor, but mounted up by the head. Then they gave me the Harley part numbers , but told me to verify the new ones are longer before purchase.

Has anyone had experience on this?

The M8 sensors are mounted in different positions. The front cylinder being the longest of them but they also come with different ends on them so if you looking for a Front cylinder O2 that would be the one you want to try. If your needing a rear one longer then you are going to have to use a front but remove the plug end and replace with a Rear one as they are a different color and keyed different.

Get the M8 Sensors. You do NOT want to try splicing the wiring of the Sensor. O2 Sensors use stainless steel wire and that has to be spot welded to the O2 Sensor and the terminal that connects to the wiring harness. I'd venture a guess that very few DIYer's or Dealers have the tools for this.

Got it solved guys. The dealer near me didn't have the newer ones in stock, so I got a set of the oem ones and an extension for the front one. Harley sells factory extensions for $29. The rear I ended up being able to reroute. Running good now.
