They come back about 2 inches closer than stock. They measure 2 inches wider than stock also. I think they are better than stock bars but after going thru that long install they are staying. Do not know about the -+2 bars.

im getting ready to order the reach bars (55800589) and noticed nobody mentioned replacing rubber handlebar riser bushings to the poly ones while everything is torn down. Is this something I should just leave stock or would it be worth it. By the way I just bought a new 16 ultra classic a few weeks ago that I've put 2k miles on. So stock bushings should still be perfectly fine, just wasn't sure if it would be smart to replace while it's accessible.

Also on the whole rubber vs poly thing, I keep reading different stories about it increases vibrations and some say it decreases vibrations. Anyone confirm which it is. Thanks

I just installed +2 bars on my 17 FLHTK. My feeling on the bushings are as follows. Yours are relatively new and if you like the feel, don't worry about them. You might consider poly if you were putting on tall apes due to the increased leverage exerted on the bushings with the apes.
I don't know for a fact, but when you consider poly is stiffer then rubber, it stands to reason that you would feel more vibrations (just like replacing poly in a car).

I have a set of the HD reach bars if anyone is interested, wrist angle just didn't work out for me...other than that I liked them a little taller and 2" of pullback.
