i have the 7inch windsplitter im 6'0 and no buffeting. certain dealerships have windshields you can demo i would try a couple out and than go with what fits you best.
7 inch LRS just arrived today. Will install soon and then I'm waiting on the fork deflectors that Surdyke just shipped today.
Not that it will help anyone immediately, but if I can find this post I'll give an update in a couple weeks when I return from Daytona.
Thanks for posting the pic. I have been considering purchasing these, but have held off because I didn't know how they would look. Going to pick up a set.
I posted elsewhere on the forum, but I just ordered a set from Surdyke for $71.96/$7.00 shipping. I used the coupon code 314FREE5 and they put a $5 gift certificate in with the order that's coming my way. It was the lowest price I found in my search.
I am looking at upgrading from the stock windshield on the 2014 SGS.
While the air louvre supposedly cuts down on buffeting, I still am not satisfied at highway speeds. Have any of you upgraded and what are your recommendations?
Thanks in advance!
I have used the 7" LRS Ultra on the last 3 bikes I have owned. One of the first things I ordered for my new bike!
I am 5'10". I look over, not through and the wind goes over my head at any speed!
Great Windshield!!
I don't think they will work with my chrome tie downs however.
