I just got my 12" vindiktas ...question for you that installed them...What did you use to cut/shave down the 1/16 piece of the fairing that's required to fit the 1.5 inch tubes?
And at least in my case, I had to take off a hell of a lot more than only the 1/16" on the corners that vindiktas site claimed was necessary.
Cool, looking to do this with 12" LA Choppers apes.
I just test fit my 16" la choppers prime apes and I may be able to keep my factory lines. Either the 16's don't measure a true 16 or the 12" vindiktas were higher than 12, because the bars don't look to be 4" difference when set side by side. Gonna measure tomorrow for true height and see if I can use my factory lines. I'm sill changing them, I've already got the black lines/fittings on hand, but it'll be good info for you guys who are in the same shoes I was in last winter.

Snap some pics if you can. Definitely liking the look of the bars closer to the fairing.
I am still in the processes of getting my Vindictaks on. Just took of all stock controls and wires. Just need to lift the fairing and pull off the stock bars.
Bike feels way more stable and easier to control in low speed turns. your leverage point it so much better when your arms are up alittle and I believe your balance is better too.
Do you have stability problems at low speeds?

I just started a thread for 16's with factory lines, pics attached.
