I went searching for a nice pair of Harley riding boots, the 2 dealerships by me do not have a large boot selection. So I drove a hour up North to Liberty Harley in Rahway, someone told me they had a large boot selection...NOT. Anyway, while there, I see a SGS, with the day maker front light, which I have, but it also had the light bar in gloss black with the day maker lights. Really gave the bike a nice look. On the way home, I stop in to my local Harley dealer and ask them to run some numbers for me on ordering the parts. Total was $773.04 with my discount and taxes. Wow that is a lot. I get home and search online, Surdyke, New Castle and Kutter. I ordered the pafrts through Kutter for $662.00. Big savings. Just can't wait to get them and install them.

So instead of boots today I end up ordering lights! lol! Oh I did buy a new leather vest too.
The front set up should look good when done. I will post pics.
Here is the before...

A lot of the guys working at the dealers wear doc martin boots. Ralph Lauren makes a line of boots that are beefy too. I have a women's pair along with 2 HD pairs. The Ralph Laurens were cheaper. My one pair of HD boots got really stretched out in a couple months. I like my custom leather high top chuck taylors when it hot out or when im going to be doing a lot of walking because there so much lighter, theyre only $10 more than standard ones and u design ur own. I know I can be such a girl but Im really good at shopping and finding just the right thing for the best deal I can get.
Oh I was going to ask speaking of deals....
I see lots of people buy from Kutter. Their prices usually run lower?
Yes Kutter usually runs at 20% off on parts, I've used them for several years and saved several thousand bucks, great Dealership to deal with and Anthony Wilson who runs the online store is a stand up guy!
the day after i bought my bike it was 28 degrees outside and i rode to the Harley dealer because i needed pants to keep my legs warm(got there 10 minutes before closing time).... a pair of lined chaps, boots, and gloves later i was good to go. I have to say I really do like the boots i wear them for more than just riding, one of the threads on hear said they believed that they were made by Wolverine which is my favorite boot maker

Never thought of those other options. Ralph Lauren? My brother is a regional manager for them, he gets 80% off. May have to hit him up. Thx.
