I have a 2014 FLHXS, the other day I locked my forks, when I came back to unlock them the ignition switch would not turn to run/accessories , I had to turn my handlebars/ forks to the right about two or three inches to the right in order to turn the ignition switch to run. Now I did not have that problem on my 2013. Does this sound normal? I am going down to the dealer this weekend I will also talk to them about this. I just wanted to know if anyone else has experience this, or am I doing something wrong. Thanks for the feedback.
Used key to lock it, once locked I could not turn ignition switch or bars so I know it locks. and used key to unlock, that is when I noticed that I could not turn ignition switch with out moving the handle bars.
Thanks.
My trouble is locking and unlocking. Most of the time the key is really hard to turn; other times there is no problem. No problem turning the switch itself.

Usually if you pull the bars to one side or the other, its a lot easier to lock/unlock.
When you engage the lock, the locking pin is pushed downward into a slot on the frame. If the locking pin is pushed up tight on either side of the slot, there is a lot of resistance to overcome. By moving the handlebars so the pin isn't up tight against the side of the locking slot, you get rid of the resistance...
I to had a lock problem, not locking and Unlocking when it was Locked, I feel it is due to being new.
