I'm having the same problem with the ignition switch. If i turn the lock to the far left, and NOT lock with key, it takes several attempts to move the ignition switch to the the run position again. Figure it is a New Bike issue that will magically go away with the miles.

Thanks for the input everyone, just to update I had to go down to the dealer today to pick up some parts that came in, I was going to talk to them, but I tried locking and unlocking three or four times before leaving the house and the ignition switch turned with no hang ups at all. It only happen the first two times I tried it, maybe the mechanism re-aligned.

I had a 2012 trike, locking and unlocking the steering was a problem. I took it back to the dealer to find out there was some wiring going past the area where the steering locks and it was getting in the way, it was moved and the problem was corrected. I do not know if this is the same problem but that was mine.
