Infotainment sending text
Has any one else been having the Info tainment system sending text message from the auto response on its own with out someone texting you on start up of bike. It has been sending 2 to 5 texts on its own. I am using a driod razr max.

I'm a newbee to the 6.5 Boom since I just got the bike this past Friday but I did set up the auto response and it has functioned correctly (as I understand it) while out riding this weekend by only sending auto replies to text messages received when I was linked and on the bike. My phone is a Samsung Galaxy S4 and at this point have not experienced the issue you described. Sorry I can't be more help and hope you get it figured out. I know that for me the learning curve on that system is steep at this point.

You might be experiencing other issues that are causing the unintended text response.

I believe I have figured out the issue of sending texts. If i have not answered the text at start up of the bike the auto reply does so for me as it sees them as new even though the may have been sent hours earlier. Does this sound correct to you?

When I had my samsung s4, my bike decided to send every person in my messaging app an auto reply that I was on my bike (during work time, made for interesting questions from my boss). I had about 30 text threads going and they all got a message even though they never text me while I was riding. Some were weeks old. Never happened again and had worked perfect for two months prior to that. I never figured out what happened. Have since went to iPhone so lost the auto reply feTure.
