You can only use a hand pump to adjust your suspension, you can purchase one from your dealer.

Do not use a compressor!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Hand pump only, you can use a basketball pump but better off with a pump from the dealer with a gauge

Hmm. I have been using a compressor, but keep the psi turned way down so as not to blow the shocks apart. Give it short bursts until I reach about 35. Hand pump would be handy and portable though.

What pump are you using? If it's the H-D suspension pump or similar Progressive suspension pump, then you've got the right pump. When attaching those pumps, you need to screw them on all the way. When properly attached, the gauge will read the current pressure in the shocks. You can then add pressure by pumping or relieve pressure with the bleed button. After proper adjustment, the pump can be be unscrewed from the fitting w/o losing shock pressure.

Again, the key here is to make sure the screw connection is fully tightened.

Hope this helps.

I have a HD hand pump with gauge, it sucks and I hate the stupid thing. I use my air compressor, Just short burst s of air.

I'm no genious when it comes to air shocks but I would figure that if I used a regulator and a flow control valve I could use a compressor to fill the shocks. I could very well be wrong though.
