I have purchased and am waiting for a 2014 ultra classic, I bought the detachable tourpak as I don't travel that often, and the touring seat that comes with it is quite large. Can anyone tell me what year bike seats are compatible with the 2014 ultra, some parts guys say that 08-13 will fit, but not with the tourpak, but will they fit if the tourpak is off, that is the question, it also goes for a backrest.. I know there are some very knowledgeable people on this forum. Thank You

When I bought my 14 limited on the floor they already had it with the quick detach, in fact I passed it at first because I thought it was a street glide. Anyway they had the street glide seat on it, when I bought it I also asked them for the stock ultra seat for testing, definately looks better with the street glide seat when riding without the tour pack. You can buy it from the discount dealers online for 179.00 otherwise Harley's site lists all seats compatible as do the non Harley aftermarket groups, Corbin, mustang
08-13 will fit with the tourpak on or off.
These guy have their heads in their asses sometimes.
The 14 seat will not fit an older model with the tourpak on because the 14 seat is larger, but the mounts are the same.
