Finished installing all the parts I had purchased since last fall and finally got out last night for the first ride of the season. Rolled over 1000 KM on the ride so I guess it isn't new anymore. Weather here has been the pits, even last night around 40 deg. & you couid see your breath. I had heated grips installed when I bought the bike & had Mean City Cycles shave my seat & put in the 2 stage heater over the winter. Man, the heated seat is great, really works well and the grips were appreciated as well. Bike is back in the shed for the next few days, calling for cold & rain till next Wednesday. Hopefully that will be the end of all this crap and the real riding season will begin.
Installed front & rearchrome speaker trim, new black handlebar clock, CVO dash insert, chrome trim around radio, air cleaner insert, headlight & passing lamp visors and the heated seat. Just have to figure out where the Radio Shack sirens go & I am finished (for now).
