Default Bluetooth Stopped Working

At 3k miles, had first real problem with infotainment system today. Bluetooth does absolutely nothing. Go to setup and move to Bluetooth and all options are greyed out. Can not select anything, no Bluetooth symbol on bottom of screen either. Phone has been paired since day one and all of a sudden today I can't do or select anything Bluetooth.

Any ideas?

reboot the bike (pull maxi fuse) and reboot the phone. that fixes most bluetooth issues. Mike

I had to unpair my phone a couple times. Nothing major. Pulling the main fuse should do the trick though.

Which BT screen is grayed out? I guess that really doesn't matter. Sounds like it needs to be repaired.
  • Go to HOME>SETUP>BLUETOOTH SETUP
  • check the BLUETOOTH box to toggle on/off (on is a check in the small box on the left of that bar)
  • click List Paired Devices
  • only entry choice should be Add New Device
    • if there are any devices listed, delete them
      • select the device
        • select Delete Pairing
        • select OK
  • delete phone's BT pairing to the bike, place phone into BT on/pairing discovery
  • select Add New Device
  • phone should appear on screen, select it & confirm pairing

That only works if your buttons aren’t grey and unable to be selected.
