Thank you WildThang. Sounds like I just need to spend more quality time with the infomation system. Of course I've only had my SGS for 4 days so far

Except that is not GPS speed. That reads from the ECM, the same as the speedometer.

I put a regular Garmin GPS on the bike, and hit the highway, screen displayed speed and speedo matched perfectly... and 4% higher than the real GPS displayed.

So I went home and took the PV2 in the house, and drastically changed the speedo calibration number. Went for a ride, and the speedo and screen displayed speed still matched perfectly, and were WAY off from the GPS.

I did the math, went home and corrected the calibration number 4% from where it started, and went for another ride. Now GPS, speedo, and screen displayed speed matched all the way to 100mph.

Default Found problem no volume control if PTT is pushed

I found out why my volume speakers were stuck on the infotainment unit. While I was trying to see how much work there was in removing my tour pac, I must have pushed the PTT button on the riders pac. It lowered the volume on the radio and usb. This is a typical function when trying to communicate with rider and passenger via the intercom. That is also why I kept getting intercom on the screen when trying to raise the volume on my handle bar. Makes sense. Sometimes looking at the most easiest and most likely thing, is a fix.

That's what I want. Looks like I'll have to add a PV2 to my list. Thanks for the clarification SafetyMan.

I had set the left hand data field to show current time. That way I had a clock when the map was being displayed. The problem I had was I then turned the distance to turn option, it placed the media information and pushed the media information up to the left hand data field. So as long as you don't turn that option on, that might work for you.

Maybe I didn't see it, but there should be a sticky for infotainment stuff on these new rides. Some of the best info comes from this forum. Hopefuuly I can add to it after today.
