My 2 cents: With all the moaning by a few 'professional' gps users I decided to post this. For me, I am very satisfied with the infotainment system. It is a major smile getter for me. here is why I like it. 1. great sounds am fm usb music streaming 2. bluetooth music via data phones 3. navigation is convenient and works great ( for me) 4. Navigation has all kinds of information on gas stations hospitals HD dealers including phone numbers of said POI's etc. VERY CONVENIENT 5. kool screen color choices really enhances bike 6. screen looks great in intense sun ( biggie) 7. touch screen and easy control buttons 8. and many many more features that I like, really makes the bike kick *** 9. I have had portable GPS's both marine and auto and they are a pita to use. IMO this is not a basic system but a very sophisticated system that 99.9 of owners will get great service from it (not withstanding any improvements which are welcome) . I don't know of a bike brand with anything close to this accessory p.s. Cant wait to see the smile on the face of the guy who buys my bike in a couple of years when he looks at 'infotainment'.
Yea, reading this forum you'd think this is the worst POS ever placed on a bike. Lol.
Far from it. I'm very happy with the infotainment, the water cooling, the suspension, the fit and finish...
I love my 2014 Limited. As of this moment, there is nothing I'd rather be riding.
I was 2 days away from sending my trade in to Charlotte for a new Indian and the Rushmore commercials came out. Ordered mine the next day. Couldn't be happier.
It was the Harley Davidson tv commercial where the boss calls the guy while riding and he presses ignore button that actually got me into the Harley Davidson dealership for a closer look. Overall all things considered its a home run in my book. maybe the GPS does not have all the bells and whistles some of my other had but all the other features and how they work together more then compensates for that.
Really glad to see people enjoying the new tech. New fairing and new tech are the reasons I'm trading my 09 ultra in on a new sgs. Can't wait to pick it up next week!!
So I just spent an entire weekend driving from Atlanta GA to Lexington KY on my 2014 with the 6.5 and had no issues. I used the GPS to get me to 9 different distilleries between Lexinton and Louisville. It worked without issue and I'm pleased with how it performed.

Same here I was all about trading a 2012 FLRH for a Chieftain until I saw the Infotainment system along with the other Rushmore upgrades.
