Default infotainment rocks

My 2 cents:
With all the moaning by a few 'professional' gps users I decided to post this.
For me, I am very satisfied with the infotainment system. It is a major smile getter for me.
here is why I like it.
1. great sounds am fm usb music streaming
2. bluetooth music via data phones
3. navigation is convenient and works great ( for me)
4. Navigation has all kinds of information on gas stations hospitals HD dealers including phone numbers of said POI's etc. VERY CONVENIENT
5. kool screen color choices really enhances bike
6. screen looks great in intense sun ( biggie)
7. touch screen and easy control buttons
8. and many many more features that I like, really makes the bike kick ***
9. I have had portable GPS's both marine and auto and they are a pita to use.

IMO this is not a basic system but a very sophisticated system that 99.9 of owners will get great service from it (not withstanding any improvements which are welcome) .
I don't know of a bike brand with anything close to this accessory

p.s. Cant wait to see the smile on the face of the guy who buys my bike in a couple of years when he looks at 'infotainment'.

If you go to the menu while in nav and select gas stations they will come up on the map.

The infotainment center was the number one deciding factor for upgrading a 2 month old 2013 to the 2014 SGS. I've always added bluetooth, gps, xmradio to all my bike cause I travel a lot. The fact that it is integrated into the bike sold me. Love the infotainment and no regrets!

I'm totally pleased so far... I added the Boom communication head set cable to my SGS.

I also added the head set to my full face helmet.

This works great!!! The sound is awsome! And when I receive a call people don't know I'm on a bike till I tell them.
The only down side to the head set configuration is the cord... The coiled cord can be tucked inside your jacket and out the bottom, but it's bulkey.
The major upside is this system sounds better and is louder than any blue tooth setup I have ever used.
