I too am an old HVAC person. When I leave a job, my name is on it. If I get a call back, it should not be anything I did not make note of. I usually put everything down on the invoice that I checked out and make comment to customer. I have had shitty luck with the HD financial office. Charge me $35 for late payment when I asked to move the payment date from the 30th to the following 1st of the month. They just sent me 2 letter saying I was in arrears. They would not email me any thing to document any conversation with them. May have to go with a different financial company. They said it was there liability protection process from there lawyers..

That being said, I feel like Harley is really good and somethings. I give them credit on the full redesign, I bought and ultra cause they got rid of and improved a lot of things that kept me from having an ultra before. Other things I feel like they do not fall flat on but I feel like its a good enough attitude.I do not know weather they have the right people in place to spear head the projects are if it is some kind of marketing strategy. In my opinion your profit would go up if you are the total package not just partial.
I am very detail oriented. A few examples of what I am thinking about other than the infotainment would be the chrome products, control housings and especially they lowers. The machining is not even cleaned up on these products, in some places the chrome looks like sh*t. Chrome lowers are not even cleaned up on the inside of the legs? WTF?
Recently I got asked by a friend to come clean a air conditioner condenser. So does that mean that is all I actually do? No I check the evaporator, the air filter, the blower motor and the refrigerant charge to make sure it is function properly. I am huge about customer service personally.
My point being you do a complete and thorough job, with anything no what profession you are in.
Thats just my opinion I guess. I am not here to whine just offer up my opinion not that anyone wants to hear it. Thanks for reading you just wasted part of your life on my ramblings, and I wasted part of my life sitting down to write it.
1. Highlight favorite then cursor over to right use up/down key to find delete.
2. Good luck on that one. This system still has a lot of bugs in it. hopefully HD will update soon. Until then expect the radio to do whatever it wants to do. Including turning itself on and off.
3. no. not that I know of.
Thank you for the answers to #1. Been looking for that myself
Okay girls here is what I have figured out. The infotainment system has a conflict with the security system. If you were listening to "media" and shut the bike off. After the security system arms itself if you move the bike at all before the security system disarms with the fob present. The ifotainment will default back to the last listened to "tuner" setting whether that be AM, FM, or WB. Watch the security light on your dash. If you stand the bike up before you turn the IGN on (like most of us do) it arms the security system then "polls" for the fob and disarms. For some reason this causes the infotainment to lose track of the last thing you were listening to. This then causes the system to default back to last used "tuner" setting. If you turn your IGN on and wait for the 4 seconds it takes to "poll" for the fob and disarm then you can stand the bike up and it will play the last "media". I have started turning the ignition to on and take my time getting on the bike. By the time I throw a leg over and stand it up. the 4 seconds it takes for the security system to cycle is up and it goes right back to what I was listening to when I stopped. Hope this gets fixed in the future but it's how I handle it for now.

Unfortunately these instructions are wrong, at least for me and everyone I know with the latest (17.4) software. There is no delete option using the arrows or any other method. I would like to hear from anyone here who has actually followed these instructions successfully.

I suspected the same but didn't think it would have something to do with the FOB...
I will try this soon.
Thank you.

You are correct, there is no delete option for Favorites. You can overwrite them though by just reprogramming a specific Favorite. The only way that I know to delete them so that they show as empty is to do a reset of the system.
