Thanks for the info! I was confused, 79 deg. cloudy and it run on one cylinder at every stop. I was getting pissed. Surely this thing ain't that hot!! Now I know. Think I'll leave mine disabled unless I get in a lot of stop and go traffic, which ain't often as I ride the mountain backroad.

It is instantaneous. No need to blip the throttle. You can not feel it. If you do, it's in your own mind.

The specs are in the millisecond range for activation of the rear cylinder. It is not dependent on clutch position. It is throttle position, speed and rpm based. Since the throttle is controlled by the computer there is no lag in turning it off.

Next time it kicks in easy out on the clutch at a light and it will disengage... Guarantee... No throttle needed... Just letting out on the clutch.

That actually makes sense but what my trying to say is it's not going to wait until that single clutch out event happens to deactivate it. The millisecond that you increase the throttle, it's off as well. So starting from a light, it's off long before you release the clutch and long before you could possibly sense it. At idle, the cylinders are only firing about 2 times a second each. The system activation time is such a small fraction of that firing time.

You are correct. Here is when the TSB says it deactivates, I bolded the clutch part:

Deactivation: If ANY of the following occur, the rear cylinder
fuel injector resumes operation:
• Touring (except FLHR, FLHRC, FLHR CVO, FLHRSE,
FLHP and FLHTP) and FLHTCUTG: AAT sensor drops
below 75 °F (24 °C).
• FLHR, FLHRC, FLHR CVO, FLHRSE, FLHP and FLHTP:
ET sensor drops below 275 °F (135 °C) (all configurations).
• ETC is above idle.
• Motorcycle speed exceeds 2 mph (3 km/h).
• Engine speed exceeds 1350 rpm.
• The clutch is released with the motorcycle in gear.

Ok I see what your seating about the throttle. I know I've had the bike spitter just a bit leaving a stop when I first got it so I always just blip the throttle before taking off.
