How do you know EITMS is on and working?

I ask this because I had my dealer activate it and turn it on my 2012 Fat Boy Lo.
(For those that don't know, softails have to have it turned on by the dealer and then it is always activated and all automatic. You can't activate it and turn it on and off by the throttle like the Touring models)

Just to see if it worked, I tried this experiment.
I also installed a Power Vision and monitored the engine temp. and let it idle till the engine temp. got up to 310* then I shut it down to cool.
It did not seem like it ever kicked on. The engine revs never changed and it didn't look or feel like it was running on one cylinder like it is supposed to when EITMS is on.

I even did a tune in the PV, downloaded it to the bike and set the EITMS to kick on at 230* and off at 215*. Once again I didn't notice any difference in the engine and the heat still climbed up to 270* till I shut it off.

Could it be because it is the balanced motor why I don't notice any difference?
Anyone with the balanced motor with EITMS on, could you tell me how you know when it kicks on? What you feel, or notice.
Thanks

I turned mine on through the power vision and never noticed it ever kick on.

Can you not set the PV in data collecting/recording mode and then play back afterwards to see if the EITMS kicked in or not?

You'll know when it kicks in, motor sounds different until you blip throttle to get gas going back to rear cylinder.

rear cylinder drops out completely, you have a noticeable difference in sound and quality of the idle, pretty hard to miss. as soon as throttle signal is picked up, rear injector starts to work again. why yours isn't coming on might be a issue with your tuner

You'll notice it because it feels and sounds like miss in the engine and with only two cylinders it is quite noticable.

Nope, not a joke.
As I explained in my first post.
The engine seems to run the same way at the temp. I set with the PV.
Unless I set it too low to begin with.
Does anyone know at what temp. it kicks on at with the stock OEM settings?
I just don't want it to get too hot and damage something trying to see if this thing works.
