I have dropped mine twice once on each side the first time I was walking the bike in position for a picture turned to the right and hit the brake down she went nothing damaged but my pride and a chip at the bottom of my lower that you cant see the second time I forgot to put the kickstand down over she went broke the ball off the end of the lever and put an identical chip in the lower, so now I have matching lowers.
Can you tell or show us where the chip is? I want to know if I've put my edge guards on in the right place.
I was moving my SGS a foot or so forward in garage and went to set it down on the jiffy stand. I was standing to the left of the bike while doing this. As I went to set it down the stand flipped up. I caught the bike as it was heading down about half way to ground. I'm 58 and don't heal as fast. Guess I pulled the crap out of my back. 4 weeks later finally feeling like I'm healing. Maybe I should have let it go but since it was only a few weeks old couldn't do it.

Good save, you know your back will never be the same, but i'd had to try also.
When (not if) your back gets screwed up you are out of commission but you will hopefully heal.
I got my drop out of the way recently too. I turned on the driveway going too slow and had the slooow drop to the ground. I was trying to take it easy since my son was riding with me. He just jumped off and helped me ease it back up.
