PV is a better tuner, but costs a bit more. FP3 will probably get the job done if you aren't going to stage-2 or higher.
Call Fuel Moto (forum sponsor) and discuss. They are good people with great service and technical advice. They sell both.
+1....
I have one of their Stage 1 kits, and some Cobra slip-ons.....gonna do cams this winter. Bought the PV from FM. Great advice, and tweaked a map for me so she runs smoooooooth.......
The new FP3 is a full tuner with auto tune that uses Bluetooth to connect to your phone or tablet so you can use it as a display and internet connection. The PV has a wired display and you have to connect it to the internet to get updates. The FP3 even let's V&H techs remotely connect to your bike to help troubleshoot and tune. The FP3 has some badass features for sure but it is new and there could be some bugs to work out like most new things. This is not the old fuel pak with the three number setting adjustments, it is a full tuner not an add on.
I'm a huge fan of the PV2, simply because I like the auto tune feature, and the fact of how easy it is to see while I'm riding. I'm not a fan of strapping my phone on the bars.

Didn't mean to sound like a sales pitch as I don't own either the PV or the FP3. Just want to make sure he knew the FP3 is nothing like the original Fuel Pak. Back to your regularly scheduled program...lol
