On a 14 Ultra Classic with the non-upgraded radio, can you turn-off the VOX for the intercom and key the mic manually? Bike does not have CB and Brother-in-law tells me button on handlebars is not there and blank and passenger vol button does not push in. At lest I hope to prove him wrong and its a nice Hour ride to do that. Your help is appreciated in that .

He's pretty much right, there is no PTT button on the handlebar. However, the passenger button should push in as it does not change when adding CB. The right side switch pack on the handlebar does change to add the switch for the driver. To use the intercom without the CB upgrade, you will be limited to use of the VOX system.
