I got my headers from fuel moto. I got the ceramic plasma cut 2-1-2. Fit and finish is wonderful. bolted right up. Stock heat shields cover the...whatever color it is, and the performance is outstanding. http://www.fuelmotousa.com/harley/ex...3-flh-spc.html $399

What did you notice about the pipes? Louder? More torque?
Did you have to tune the bike to keep it from running lean?
And last one..did you get the Full size X-over pipe?
I went with the Cobra Power Ports, happy with the quality, performance, and install was easy. I like the look of a true dual on a FLHXS. If I still had my 2013 FLHTC I would of went with the V&H Power duals. JMO. Kick back and decide what YOUR reason is for changing out the exhaust ~ hp, torque, looks, sound, or any other reason. Then decide if you want true duals 2-1-2 or 2-1 set up, after you figure that out then you can find a brand that you want. Good luck.
I went with the V&H dual system. Really changes the sound and of course more power, less heat. The Rineharts are a beautiful systems but very expensive. If money was no object, that's the system I would of installed.
RestTomorrow: Which mufflers are you running? Do share some pics!

Agree. Just put the same headers, the 4" Jackpot mufflers and a PV2. Significant difference, better sound and much less heat.
If you don't mind spending about $450 and not being able to tell you changed anything Fuel Moto has a good head pipe that uses your stock heat shields. If I'm spending that much money I want it to be noticable so I went with the Vance & Hines Power Duals from Eastern Performace for $500 shipped to my house. S&S makes a great head pipe also. Or you can go with true duals.
You can always tell when someone has installed an after-market head pipe. The ultimate is a nice cam along with it. It just makes that "Potatoe,Potatoe" sound more sweet!
