Default Reverse?

Just picked up a 14 Ultra Limited... I'm pretty sure that it doesn't have reverse, yet I can clearly see a light for R in the display. Does it? It would be a nice surprise.

Second question... how do you disable the rear cylinder shut-off?

No it doesn't have reverse. Moco uses the same gauge on the tri-glide. The EITMS is easily turned on or off. I don't recall exactly how to do it but if you resort to your owners manual the instuctions are there and are easy to follow.

To enable or disable the EITMS roll the throttle fully off (as far as possible) for about 5 seconds with the bike running or at least with ignition on and run switch on. The Cruise light will change colour or you can press the info button to watch it enable/disable.

Thanks... I assume that will keep it off? A lot to learn on this bike.

Default What the R is

It is the range left on your fuel consumption, toggle through the top button on lrft grip, changes the trip meter views and odometer view;

Default What the R means

The odometer has a "miles remaining on gas" function;

Total miles
Trip 1
Trip 2
Range on fuel remaining. (displays an "R" next to the miles remaining)

At 900 lbs., it would be nice to have reverse.

Make sure you check and see if your front plug wire is rubbing the bottom of the gas tank (it will be). You'll need to bend the contact at the plug to more of a 90* angle to keep it from rubbing, or you will have a nice divot in the wire insulation after a couple of thousand miles.

It will cycle between on and off each time you do it.
