Starting to ride a '14 FLHTCU. Noticing a lot of brake dive on the forks. Only 250mi on the bike and already had a situation where it made me feel uncomfortable during some heavy braking, and another time in some tight corners. On the other hand, going 2up down the super slab is extremely nice - like we're just floating down the road.
I ordered a MoCo Progressive sping kit to help with the brake dive. After I ordered, noticed online that there are some folks adjusting their forks all the way into the trees as an inexpensive way to lower the bike. My question is this:
Would performing this mod to the bike compress the springs and also reduce the brake dive? I'm not set up with a lift, so I was planning on paying a tech to do the progressive spring kit for me, but lowering the forks looks like something I could do in my garage. Worth a try, or should I just do the progressive springs and be done with it?
My front end dives with these new brakes also. But not all the time. Its how I apply them (still too much like my last bike). I figure once I get used to them, the problem will go away, like anything else new and different.

No. It does nothing to change suspension compression or rebound. It will reduce the amount of suspension travel before you get interference between sprung & unsprung parts (results in damage to back or top of front fender).
