Dresser duals o2 sensor problem

Dresser duals o2 sensor problem
Got a set of dresser duals. The instructions imply that the o2 sensors disconnect from the wire leads. (They call for the sensors to be installed prior to installing the pipes) maybe I missed something, but, I can't disconnect the o2 sensors from the wire leads? The issue is properly tightening the o2 sensor into the pipe requires a wrench and with the pipes installed you can't get a wrench on them. Besides I would end up twisting the heck out of the wires. I hope I missed something and someone can point out my silly mistake??

Gunny, yeah that's what I did. I was eating a burger and though "duh, disconnect them at the other end! Tried to delete the post to hide my shame. Lol. Anyway. Got it all done. Will start with the map downloads next. Got ohlins to install tomorrow. This forum has saved me so many simple and big mistakes as well as lots of time. So thanks to all.
