I got the longest ones namz offered. For the few dollars more it cost, I figured there's plenty of space in there to hide any excess. I think mine were 15"? And FYI, if you order from namz, you're going to get a shipping label before they ship them, It's automatically generated. It took like a week and half to get my extensions and they're just the next state over. The excuse I got is it took a week to "build" my extensions. My shipping label came 2 days after my order, they didn't ship for a week after that.
hmmm...is there someone else you recommend buying them from? and did you get the plug-n-plays?

I wouldn't suggest going elsewhere, just be prepared that they may not get to you from namz in 3 days even tho you'll still get a shipping label email the day after you order. I was pissed at the time just because my bike was in pieces waiting on these extensions, and I ordered them when I did because the website said "built in house" and "ready to ship" so I figured I'd have them in a few days, and it took a week and a half. The quality is good and the plug and play can't be beat. Just don't have your bike in pieces waiting for them.
Dumb question, maybe.
I put new grips on the bike not that long ago.
If I switch bars this winter, should I just factor in a set of replacement grips, or will my Kuryakyn ISO grips be salvageable?
I got the 8 inch extension for mine, but sixshooter got the longest.. 8's will work is what everyone says... I know one damn thing! If my bars aint here this week, I'm ordering Yaffes , thinking VERY serious about it anyway after all the horror stories I'm hearing, including MY ordeal!! Just wanted to rant! LOL

Some are saying they stick out to far from the fairing compared to the yaffee's. And you know my ordeal.. almost 2 months later, still not able to put them on because I haven't got the 2nd set yet. I understand chit happens, I work for myself too, but damn! 2 months almost!!?
Ordered the 12" Yaffe Bagger Monkey Bars in chrome, and got the NAMZ extensions for the controls and the throttle by wire.
Still looking for advice on the grips. Did you guys salvage your existing grips, or just buy new ones?
Thanks!
i know that some people have been able to save them, but it's a pain in the ***. alot of people just cut them off and replace. if you have the money, you'll probably want new ones. they glue those puppies on pretty good. you might want to cut them off.
Have the 12.5 Wild 1 chubby's in black on mine. They are pushed to the fairing. They also sit about 2" above the fairing. They are an 1 1/2" and will accept heated grips. With your hands above the fairing consider that option.
