I hooked mine up as soon as I found a hidden hitch that would fit. Pulls great. Awesome for camping. I also have a cargo carrier that mounts to it for more security and keeping things dry. I want to make a small ladder rack for my kayak.

I have the MCHitch and an ALUMA MCT trailer. Pulled the trailer from Kansas City, Mo to and thru the "Tail of the Dragon" (See Sig Pic) Cant tell it's back there except needing to slip the clutch a little more taking off and you can feel some vibration when going over bumps.
See this thread for info on hitches and wiring: https://www.hdforums.com/forum/new-r...ing-setup.html

I've had a trailer that I've used with three bikes. I usually put about a year's worth of miles on before I put a hitch on. After that, I've never had a single issue.

I've thought about getting one for years. Although, I always imagined using one of those camping trailers. I've never thought about pulling a small utility trailer! What a great idea. I've got to get one now. That way I can ride AND pick stuff up at the hardware store etc... No need to take my truck anymore.

Yep, yes I do ... on long trips. No problems and until you've done it ( provided you have a decent trailer ) you'll be worried about handling ... You won't know it's on the back of the scooter. I have the Bushtec Setup and it works fantastic whether you're on the Interstate or cruising the back mountain roads

Towed Bushtec behind a stock 05 Ultra for about 40,000 miles and 9,000 so far behind 14 Trike. Never had a problem you do have to take turns a little wider and watch pulling into gas stations because you forget it is back there. The only time notice it behind you is on steel grated bridges but still not a big deal.
Need the trailer to carry wives wheelchair so it goes where ever we go.
